Did anyone watch "See Arnold Run" last night?

1. How great was the Pompeii show?

I thought it was so good. I was totally enthralled!

Oh, and i didn't watch that crappy thing about Arnold...what happened to A&E?

7. what got me is the descriptions of the way people died

and the massive unearthing of the city.

I sure would love to see it in person.

11. my favorite parts were when...

the people died, and then they showed the bones or cast of that person. It really made it seem even more horrific and sad.

The only not so interesting part was the end when they kept going on about how people lived near the volcano today, and eventually they all might die. I thought that was kind of depressing and the show would have been better without it.

Is reality. You say "eventually they all might die"--actually, eventually, all of them will die. That's life. You are probably referring to the fact that another Plinian eruption of Vesuvius could occur--& they'd die that way.

In the meantime, they're living their lives. Just as their ancestors did until the eruption.

15. I just thought that the show

stood on its own without that part. That could have been a whole other show for the next hour.

That ending part made it seem like all the people that live near Vesuvius were crazy from living there, when in fact many people live in places where similar disasters are likely to occur.

to a tee. I couldn't watch much, i have to see his face on the news everynight,

14. Notice that, in true "liberal media fashion", there were no mentions of

one of Roland Kickenger's (sp?) previous endeavors, which probably brought him to the attention of the media, plus the true play on the Ahnold similarities (and touching upon a bit of the hint that Ahnold had a gay streak).

Howard Stern's comedy - Son of the Beach. Played an Ahnold-type lifeguard - dumber than a retarded rock, which fit in well with all but the one female lifeguard who wore a one-piece swimsuit; she was the smart one . . .

I have yet to see an article mention that . . .
