ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia -- Bob Marley's widow is standing firm by her statement that she will move his body to Ethiopia.
Rita Marley said she's determined to honor her husband's wish for burial in Ethiopia.
She announced the plan to move the reggae icon's body earlier this month, which prompted an outcry from Jamaicans who said moving his body out of Jamaica would rob them of their heritage.
Rita Marley said there's no time set for reburial and there's no rush.
She wants to move her husband's body to a region about 155 miles south of Addis Ababa, where hundreds of Rastafarians live.
A celebration of the 60th anniversary of Marley's birth will take place next month. It's the first time the event has taken place outside Jamaica.
