Flying USA to Europe- need airline recommendations

Hi, I'm flying from Seattle to France in a couple months and need recommendations for airlines. I've flown NW and SAS and really liked SAS but they're more expensive. Has anyone flown other companies they could recommend? Thanks.

Lufthansa is good, Delta was one of the better US ones.

Depends alot on where you fly from (to minimize connections and changes of planes) and where you are flying to...

I really haven't seen a big difference in quality.

As far as price goes, I usually look for an internet bucket shop or a UK travel search engine.

But sometimes it's good to go directly to the airlines. About six years ago, I got $300 RT tickets to Spain by calling SpanAir directly. RyanAir has some good fares. I've heard there are other cut-rate carriers in Europe, but don't know any of them by name.

On Edit: Looks like RyanAir doesn't go to the US. Too bad. I'm trying to find tickets for June, and $750 is about the best I can find.

Very efficient in how they do things, the Germans.

5. My favorite Domestic bar none is American.

I fly several times a month. Often domestic, but several annual trips to London, Hanover, Munich and the rare trip to Italy or to drop in on the Swiss. If you can afford to fly business class, BA, Lufthansa or Virgin are the way to go. The beds are great and they recline all the way. Easy to sleep. If you are flying coach, American gives more legroom than the other domestics. If you are flying a coach on a foreign carrier, Virgin and Lufthansa are my favorites. Both offer great service and a far more comfortable coach seat than the domestics. Virgin coach is almost a total recline. I flew AlItalia from Rome to NY once and it was great.

Usually the least expensive is Air Canada
Go thru a wholesaler if you can, they have very inexpensive fares

If not the next best thing is probably Delta, since they are lowering
fares, also try United thru a wholesaler

9. Yahoo will let you track airfares which is really handy... United is

very nice, I'm going via air france next week to paris. Seriously they're all pretty much the same. The agony is just less if you get a non-stop. Expedia is great for booking. I've flown them all, and it's all a matter of what seats you get; I prefer as far forward as possible.

If you're popping around europe, I suggest easyjet.com, but plug in that you're in the UK, not from the US.

If you're going after June, look me up in Nice, as that's where I'm moving to!!!!!!
