Its totally cool. For the northeastern US archaeologist, winter lay-offs are a part of life. Like I said in my "unemployed again" post, there is a good chance of work here in about a month and there will be a fair amount of opportunity once the weather clears in April, or so. And I have enough cash saved to cover most of my major bills over the next few months, so its not a catastrophe, just a set-back.
