Am I the only"24" fan at DU?

7. i would start watching it but I wouldnt know what was going on..

I could download shows from 3 years back from torrent sites and play catch up for the rest of the winter I suppose. I wouldnt care whether it was left wing or right wing if it's good. it's just fiction. :shrug:

and they usually have one boring plot line going also and just when it's getting into the meat of the show they'll go to the lame plot line,other than that it's awesome.

but i stopped watched this season's primiere after they started right into the bickering. i was only coaxed back from the good reviews it got here. I highly doubt there would still be people backstapping eachother and trying to promote their careers in the middle of a major crisis.

It's been much too blunt and obvious for me to continue watching.

A gimmick only carries a show so far, stories keep you watching. The story this year has been beyond preposterous. They've also traded in some very capable supporting actors for total garbage. William Devane has been unwatchable.

It truly is some of the worst acting you'll find on television.

For the record, I watched the 1st two seasons with great interest, so I'm not slagging them from an ignorant POV.

The show is tired and obvious. It had a nice little run but I think the magic ended after season 1.
