1. I have a sore spot on the inside of my lower gum.
And they do hurt. I can't stop worrying it with my tongue. Really strange counter-intuitive behaviour.

4. try a dab of
hydrogen peroxide on a q tip and apply it to the canker sores. I used to have them all the time...and I'm pretty sure this is what I did.

5. There's some stuff, or used to be
called "Kenalog in Orabase". It was prescription when I had to use it on a two inch long ulcer in my mouth years ago. Your dentist could prescribe it.

7. I remember my orthodontist said to swab Kaopectate on it
as it coats it, but I can't find it! Thanks for the tips, y'all.

8. Try this to help
mix equal parts of Maalox and children's Benadryl. Swoosh it around your mouth. It really helps.

10. Canker sores hurt
whine all you want.

The above mixture was recommended by a pediatrician. I was surprise at how much it helped the pain.

Good luck.
