I've encountered Devo's "Mongoloid" twice today.
Is that weird, or what?

The first was on the drive in to work, when I was listening to a Zappa rehearsal recording from 1980. They were stringing together a bunch of songs, including Mongoloid, Rock Lobster, and Heart Of Glass.

The second was while I was teaching kindergarten. They were listening to a song called "The Spider", and I noticed that part of the chord progression is exactly the same as the chorus of "Mongoloid". There was a very similar melody as well.

As you were. :)

2. I think "Mongoloid" must be
the newly adopted victory song of the Bush team.
