17. I voted Saving Private Ryan
but I agree The Terminal was good, but it just dragged in a few places and he should have caught up with her at the end.

5. Joe vs. the Volcano
Yes, I know it was a bad film - that's the point! It's a fun movie, campy, totally ridiculous and great to watch.

10. Love Joe vs. the Volcano!
And Volunteers!! Those early ones were definitely campy and funny.

Can't compare them to the ultimate Hanks film: Philadelphia.

Which is why I chose Other...

And The Green Mile gets special attention. Fascinating movie.

13. Saving Private Ryan?
I doubt it would get many votes here on DU, but its a promiment movie of his.

BTW, I voted for "League of Their Own" and still would have if "Ryan" were in the Poll.

15. Why is it, that in every Tom Hanks movie, he has to have one scene...
...in which he is taking a wizz?

I always thought that was strange.

He's a real nice guy but I think he's overrated as an actor.
