3. I hate the damn Red Sox
All these years all I ever hear about is the what is happening with the freaking Sox. Is there any doubt the sportswriting community is heavily biased toward NY and New England? God, I get sick of this. You'd think the greatest moment in sports history was Fisk's 1975 homer. But it wasn't even close. There have been a dozen more important hits the past thirty forty years.

The next day the neighbours asked me what was up cause at 1:00 am all they heard was "YES YES YES FUCK YOU YANKEESSS FUUUUUUCCCKKKKK! YOU!"

7. Ortiz is being considered for MVP honors this year.
He has done more for his team than any other player in the league. Big hits at critical point in the game. The man has just been coming through bigtime!
Before that hit he was 0-17.

28. I want to know what his wife promised him for hitting a triple

I think I can guess. He was all embarrassed and giggling when asked about it a few months ago. And then didn't he go and hit ANOTHER triple!

He was due today, for sure. But so is Manny.

I refuse to give up hope. Kerry Wood is pitching tonight and I don't think the Braves can hit him. At least thats what Cub Nation is hoping. Again, GO CUBS!!!!!!!!!! And hopefully the Red Sox or A's will beat the #@*! Yankees.

And now I'm pissed at myself for responding to your goading. It'll never happen again.

29. What a fun game that was?
Was listening on the radio on my drive home from Dallas. Nearly ran myself off the road hollering and bouncing up and down when Ortiz got that hit.

I'm having a really good weekend sports-fan-wise. All my teams have won so far. The Cowboys, Texas Tech, UT, the Sox. Now if the Twins will have a miraculous comeback against the Yankees life will be perfect. :)

39. If I can make it
ok. I really want to go to Fenway. I am not sure how I plan to get there, chances are it could be via train. I got to see Boston. Sounds like a great town. Its gonna be hard without a car but I would rather go by train honest, why? because not as long and maybe even more affordable. However the draw is that I would have a hard time getting around. Is this in late July? Please Please it better be because then I may have a chance to get my license by then. My objective is to have my license my next fall.

41. Convention is July 24-29
And once you're in Boston you won't need a car. You'll actually be better off without one. You'd just park it - for a price - while you're in the city.

Despite the gruesome play of the last two days, I think tomorrow is going to be a dogfight.

And one thing is for sure - we won't be at the Net mooing "Ped--ro, Ped--ro" like a bunch of jerks.

Okay, as you can see I'm bitter. We have a new curse, given that two runs were within a few feet of home plate with the ball in play last night and both players JUST FREAKING STOOD THERE and let themselves be tagged out: The Curse of Jeremy Giambi. Home plate for the A's is cursed.

And yes, the Yankees do suck.
