Actually, I am donating it to a veterans groups.

I have been planning to buy a new car for some time now (in the spring). Sunday, my Right Front wheel all but fell off (broken axle). That was the death blow. No sense putting more money into it.

I am planning to buy a Hybrid (most likely the Civic). Luckily I have found a few used ones in the area. I'm going to look at them tonight.

2. Update ... Proud new owner of a Civic Hybrid ...

And what a great deal. The car has 2500 miles on it and I got about $2K off the new purchase price.

The people who owned it only bought it for the time until their Toyota Prius came in, so it is mint condition.

I was very lucky to even find this car, because they only cleaned it out today. I think I called about it on the day (or day after) they got it. Talk about walking into a great opportunity. There are people who have been waiting for months for their new orders to come in.

Every chance I get I drive my Mother's Prius (she doesn't like driving while I love driving - so when we are together...) Can't yet afford buying one for myself... but when I need to replace my (8 year old car) hopefully I will be able to do the hybrid option.
