6. Most simple alcohols have fifths around that price.
Gin, vodka, whiskey or rum.

14. That kind of reminds me of a recent experience at a party store.
I was waiting in line at the non-liquor register, when a 13-tear-old looking kid went up to the guy behind the liquor counter and said: "What can I get for um...(counts scrunched up dollar bills) nine dollars?" The guy behind the counter showed him a couple of options. The kid nods his approval, walks out the door, hands his money to a waiting college-aged kid, who comes in, pays for the fifth that the young teen has chosen, and walks it back out to the waiting 13 year-old.

Am I incredibly naive to be scandalized by this? Is this only because I am a relatively new parent who is terrified of what I have to face in the future?

3. Too much
13.00 for a small bottle
18.00 - 22.00 for a larger bottle
28.00 - 32.00 for the next step up
44.00 and up for the biggest bottle

That shit is expensive.
And take it from me, it goes quickly.

5. Cheaper at Trader Joes- I think it's $21 there
but they also carry Carolans Irish Cream which I like better and is only $11 a bottle.

11. Try Ryans Cream. It's made with imported Irish whiskey and
tastes the same as Bailey's to me. And the Large bottle is only about $14. :toast:
