Ohio AAR (Clear Channel) station comes in in Nashville.
I listened to WCKY all the way home from Nashville to Springfield, TN with a 4/5 signal all the way except for a few miles near Madison, TN where it got drowned out by the transmitter for hate-speech 1510 WLAC.

I know it's a Clear Channel station, but it's so nice to be able to listen to AAR live on the way home from work!

2. I struggled to listen to the Memphis and Atlanta stations...
... to no avail.

I actually stumbled across 1530 by accident. I was punching the buttons on my radio, which was recently reset when I replaced the battery. I had set a few of the AM frequencies, but I happened to hit one of the buttons I hadn't set, and it dropped right onto 1530 ... and out popped Randi's voice, loud and clear.

3. I still can't understand why AAR doesn't have a Nashville affiliate!
Nashville is a BLUE city, and voted 54% for John Kerry. There's a great advertising base for AAR programming in the art/culture/university areas of Nashville.

4. Hey, I grew up near Springfield, but in Kentucky
good on Nashville for having AAR, we still don't have it in North Texas yet.

Of course Davidson County is pretty blue, anyway.

Can't believe WCKY has gone liberal!

6. Nashville doesn't have it yet ... I think we're just lucky for the ...
... winter atmospheric "skip".

5. Clear Channel putting AAR on one of its stations in Nashville?
I would think that would be a very positive omen for AAR. :D
