...such as Funtastic, fundamental, dysfunction, funeral... haha... are we having fun yet? Lessee...function, funk (take the F offa funk and whatdaya have?)....

So let's have some fun with a story that someone just shared with me about truly recovered alcoholics, ya know ones who work an honest program in alcoholics anonymous and really try clean up their side of the street and be better people. The story goes like this...



God made the world and then made people and told them to have fun, be happy, enjoy, let Me know if there's any real problems, I'll always be here for you..., and off to His house he went.

Well the next thing you know, here come all these people: knock, knock: "Hey God, I want this, I want that, you didn't do this, you didn't do that."

Whine, whine, whine...picky little nonsense stuff! Arrrrgggh!! So, God packs Himself up and moves to the top of a mountain. Damn, but those people climbed all the way up there regardless of the rocks and crags...whine,whine, whine...

"I want this! I want that!" Geez!

So, God packs himself up again and moves to the bottom of the ocean. Blast it! The people figured out a way to stay underwater, write their whines on chalk board and it started all over again! "I want this, I want that." For Pete's sake!

So, God packed himself up once again and decided that He had to go somewhere that people could still find Him for their REAL NEEDS but would leave Him the heck alone for the little whiny crap of 'my car is too old', 'my hair is the wrong color', etc. etc. etc.!

He found the perfect spot....He located Himself way down deep inside each one of us and He found Peace! He knew that was the LAST place people would look for Him...

However, I was told by that same friend that you can SEE God in each and every one of us...it's in the eyes! Look next time, look deep into a person's eyes and God will show Himself. And boy oh boy do I see that 'something' in the eyes of AAer's! ~Unknown~

P.S. I'll bet you can also see God in the eyes of DUer's if we met face to face.
