Who's The Funniest Woman In The Whole Wide World?
Past or present... alive or dead... who makes you laugh the hardest?

-- Allen

If you can't pick just one... go ahead and list your 2nd and 3rd picks too.

7. I agree on Sarah Silverman...
but funniest non-living woman, for me, is Dorothy Parker.

12. Gotta go with the first two--
Carol and Madeline...every single time.

Lately, though-- I'm in love with Betty White and her potty mouth side.

18. Yep -- she's the best
She likes to bartend at a bar in Mass. during the summer. The bar has live jazz and she's a fan of jazz. I know one of the musicians.

The first time I saw her brand of comedy was her one woman show before she did the movie "The Color Purple".

The other comedians listed are also great -- each has her special talent.

The Carol Burnett show is a classic -- especially the bloopers -- when comedians crack up each other -- this is sort of like jazz artists trying to top each other.

There was nothing better than her, Harvey and Tim trying to get through a skit without cracking up.

She and Kathy Najimi had a two woman stage show in the 80's that was hilarious (The Kathy and Mo Show)

I've seen her on TV shows and TV movies recently and she really cracks me up. She's got a straight-faced and sarcastic style.
