A copycatted thread can be considered a new thread in regards to copycatting, as so far as if the copycatting crosses the lines of genres eg. politics to music or video to music (excluding music videos.)
Copycatting the initial thread is thereby independent from any subsequent copycats of such other subsequent copycats for copycatting purposes.
