Goose-Chasing Dog May Lose Job On Golf Course
<snip>

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Officials in Rose City, Ore., are expected to tell a local dog, "You're fired."

The Portland City Council is set to vote Wednesday on whether to fire Shasta from her job chasing geese at a golf course.

The city bought Shasta to the RedTail Golf Course two years ago and entrusted her with scaring away the Canada geese that congregate on the course.

The birds chewed the grass and left annoying piles of droppings.

Visitors complained the dog was too aggressive, not only chasing away the geese but also keeping people off the course, too.

2. Bring that dog here
I used to live directly on a golf course and i'm sorry but Canadien geese leave turds behind the size of dog turds. It takes a flock of 30 or so to make a complete mess of things in like two days, and they love to overwinter here.

So I say, bring Shasta here. The dog can chase as many geese as it pleases.
