I drive a Civic, which I bought before hybrids were available. My next car will be a hybrid. The Civic gets good gas mileage, it can fit in one parking space (and leaves room for others to open their car doors), and people can see around me on the street.

I also walk, carpool and take public transportation. If I weren't such a klutz I'd ride my bike more often too.

If in the future I feel I need a larger vehicle that can haul my kids and get around in the snow, I will purchase a Subaru. It gets better gas mileage than Planet-Mobiles and doesn't cause all other drivers to move in the the shoulder.
