young girls and women fret over their looks. Diet themselves into illness and even obesity. Yes diet to obesity. lose a few gain a few. I think it is tragic that young people, male and female hold themselves to standards set on a television program.

They could be normal weight or over weight, but they certainly aren't obese (judging by their faces). I didn't see the show last night.

Do you think they've become more critical this year of the weight of the contestants? I haven't been watching to know. I know that several of the good singers on past shows were slightly overweight.

I don't normally watch this, but I actually saw a little of it due to other factors of someone else watching it and all I could think was "Oh, the snotty guy would think I was fat." Anyway, I'll take it especially considering I've got a good ten years on them and have had 9 and 10 pound babies. Screw the people who expect us all to be size 2's. I'm content with myself.
