1. A night in the sack?

:D

Other than that, we just have a nice dinner out. No real present exchanging here. Maybe a favorite CD or something.

2. I'm trying to find my honey the perfect guitar effects box

Might get one from a DUer.

Not romantic but he needs a new one and will be very happy!

I hinted in no uncertain term for lingerie for me...we will see what he comes up with.

6. I said to him- what would YOU like to see me in?
I was at a Macy's yesterday and they had all manner of stuff...from naughty to flannel.

If you have any Victoria's Secret or Frederick's of Hollywood stores nearby go there. You should have no trouble finding something there. You should see what size she wears first.

Jewelry is usually a good thing. A nice dinner out is great too.

My advice is to make it a personal gift. Make it romantic. Make her think that you think of her in "that way."

3. I might get him a card.
I learned a long time ago that he's not much for anything involving "gifts." It used to be an issue for us, but now, after a few years of it, I'm kind of getting used to the fact that he refuses to shop.

He did send me flowers once...

7. Can I say that and not get your thread locked?

The best thing I could think of would be book of homemade coupons for stuff like a back rub, one night of him making dinner, a candle lit bath, one bottle of wine under the stars, one day spent hiking together... Time with each other--you know? That kind of thing would mean a lot and it would be cheap and wouldn't involve going shopping for anything.

It isn't about spending cash it is about putting time into the perfect idea--like you are doing here.

Have a great holiday!

8. thank you are very kind
I will take your advice, however, since I do most of the cooking, always buy the wine, periodically give her backrubs and gift certificates for professional backrubs, it looks like lingerie would be a good idea.

9. Another idea
http://www.allthings4love.com/weekender_kit.html

Kama Sutra gifts. The above is just one of the things they make.

Since I dont' know you or your wife I dont' know if this is appropriate but I can say I like their oil of love...chocolate mint flavor...

11. That stuff is just "toys" to "play" with
for adults only if you know what I mean...

They make really great massage oil, too.
