MONTREAL -- There are reports the organizer of Montreal's failed World Aquatics Championship has been found dead.
Police say a body was found in a car today but wouldn't identify the man.
Radio-Canada and Montreal radio stations CJAD and 940 News say Yvon DesRochers was found dead inside the vehicle.
Radio-Canada says the corpse was found beside a gun.
Police say they are investigating the death as a suicide.
FINA, the world governing body for aquatic sports, recently withdrew the world aquatic championships from Montreal due to a shortfall in funding.
