I grew up in Phoenix. When the Rodney King riots took place, I recorded everything I could, figuring I'd want to pull it out and look at it in the future.

Well, it's 12 years later, and I've got a DVD recorder, so I decided to archive the tape to disc. As I was watching it again for the first time in 12 years, I noticed someone familiar in the local newscast for KTVK-TV 3. It was Daryn Kagan:
