1. Too late.
I just checked, and the Bush family just glommed on to all the good ones.

7. I grew up in Tucson,
which is within the Gadsden Purchase, and some years ago when I was making a visit out there, a good friend of mine joked about returning to my native Duchy, and ever since then I've considered myself the Duchess of Gadsden. I use that screen name on a couple of websites, but should make more use of it.

8. That page is full of errors
which make me suspicious about the entire thing.

First, Lord, Baron, and Countess are not royal titles, they're noble titles.

Secondly, it refers to 'Lord E. Holden', 'Lord J. Francis', 'Lady A. Hockaday', 'Baron P. Ashcroft', 'Countess K. Brooksbank', and 'Lord C. Andrews'. Anybody who know about titleage would also know that with noble titles the first name is dropped (or rather is put before the title). Thus the last Labour Prime Minister was James Callaghan, when he was made a peer he received the full title of "the Rt. Hon. James, the Lord Callaghan, Baron of Cardiff, K.G. P.C." or in brief Lord Callaghan, but never ever ever Lord James Callaghan.

Such errors would be common among those who know little/nothing about titles, but are of such a school-boy level that I would not trust anything else coming from the same source.
