My fiance is a staunch republican. We just agree that it's best (most of the time) if we don't address our politics. If we do discuss them, we just make sure we don't get out of hand and discuss them calmly. It's really not that hard. I find it hard to judge people just because I disagree with them politically. If you give them time, they'll give you much better reasons to dislike them. lol

It's the extremists that I have no use for, but that's not limited to politics. People that live, breathe, eat and shit their cause (whatever it is) just aren't that much fun to be around.
