political halloween costume ideas??
Edited on Sun Oct-05-03 08:30 PM by newsguyatl
so my friend and i were just talking about costume ideas for halloween and admittingly didn't get very far...

we talked about possibly going out as WMD's (though not sure how we'd pull it off) or maybe even doing a spoof on AWOL on the lincoln carrier...

i know some of my fellow creative DUers have some ideas up your sleeves...

let's hear 'em...

shrub would be easy to pull off, just wear a chimp mask, a suit and tie with dubya name tag...

7. I saw one pair at an anti-war march in Portland
The man was dressed as Bush (with a Bush mask), the woman was dressed as the Statue of Liberty, and every once in a while, "Bush" would pretend to attack the "Statue of Liberty."

9. make fun of Bush's endless dressing-up --"The Village (Photo-op) People"!
Edited on Sun Oct-05-03 08:42 PM by Lisa
Get together with a bunch of friends. Emulate the various costumes Bush has worn over the past few years (with everybody wearing the same mask of him, just to get the point across)

1) The cop -- Bush in a NYPD jacket and cap, with that badge he used as a prop in the big speech

2) The construction worker -- Bush dressed up in safety glasses and hardhat, and toolbelt (with a bandage around his finger, where he injured himself 5 minutes into that Habitat for Humanity photo-op)

3) The military guy -- flightsuit and helmet!

4) The cowboy -- white cowboy hat, fancy boots

5) The schoolteacher -- wearing mortarboard and Yale gown, holding copy of the Caterpillar book

etc., etc.

16. If you run outta time before deciding, paint a big box black, add some
wires and a keyboard and a sign that says, "It's later than you think. Do you know where your vote is?"
