My daughter found out what her baby is today, a boy.

Rylund Scott, due in June.

That's what I did tonight instead of watching Bush, visited with my daughter about her little boy. My first grandbaby.

12. My kids are the only grandkids on both sides

My husband is an only child, and my brother swears he's never having kids. He's only 24, we allfigure he'll change his mind.

My son actually registered at Toys R Us one year for xmas, and got everything he asked for...but he's always bored...go figure!

My first was the first on my side and the second on his. He used to make quite a haul at xmas, but we never actually registered!! That's too funny. I remember one Christmas I was worried because I had just gotten laid off. Then on Christmas Eve I hauled all the presents out from the different places I had put them. Oh My Gosh! I was sort of embarrassed. I think there was more stuff under that tree just for him than all 3 of them had in later years.

My brother swore he was never going to have kids either. He married a woman with a daughter and their son is 8!

And I know what you mean about knowing the sex ahead of time. I only had one, but never wanted to know because I felt it would be like unwrapping a Christmas present too early. But now that he's in his 20's, I'm thinking it sure would be nice when he decides to have kids to know what the sex would be beforehand. As grandmother, it would give you and edge on spoiling. :thumbsup:
