A bit of good personal news to share with the DU folks
The job I started working at this month is a 30 day temp-to-hire, after the 30th day they evaluate your performance and attendance and roll you over as a permanent employee. Well during my 17th day, the Supervisor said I qualified to be an official employee. I begin as an employee for the company rather then my employment agency this coming Monday. It also means a .25 an hour raise :party:

Must be a relief to know you 'have a job' now :)
I've done the 'temp thing' and was so stressed out before being hired in. I know how good it feels!

I wasn't worried about it though, they have system on how they do things. A system that racks up points for types of unexcused absenses or late check-in's and everyone gets from a warning to termination based on how many points. A system that determines how much you get paid based on how much you do, everyone determines how much they get paid. The temporary thing required you to reach a minimum quota by your 4th week on the floor,(This is my 3rd week on the floor 4th week(1st was training) on the job) I met that expected quota by the 2nd week, 1st week they didn't have a quota.
