Looking for bank ripoff info

There was a poll and discussion on here in the last couple weeks about credit cards. I'm trying to find some info, tried googling it without much success.
Bank One just raised our %rate from 9% to 22%!!! No explanation. I understand there has been a successful class action suit against them for just such tactics.
I am planning on calling them tomorrow to unload. Anyone with other information, including how to deal with?

1. I don't know the specifics, but if you are carrying a balance, threaten to

...close your account and tranfer your balance to an account w/ a lower interest rate.

As I said, I don't know much specifiacally about BankOne, but often times you can get a financial firm to pull back, at least a bit, if you threaten to sell your debt to a company offering a lower interest %. Hell, that's the way quite a few credit comapanies get their initial business.

2. I wouldn't just threaten to transfer the debt, I'd do it. Why waste time

when the meter's running every day at 22% APR?
