It Looks Like They Are Remaking "I Dream Of Jeannie"...

I can't really say I am crazy about this trend to remake old sitcoms as movies...but if it was a show I enjoyed...then I guess I can't help but have an interest in them. If they are going to do this, how would you cast it?

Here is my cast...

Jeannie...Kate Hudson (looks as if this is going to happen)

Tony...Wes Bentley

Roger...Ethan Embry

Doctor Bellows...Kurtwood Smith

Amanda Bellows...Christine Baranksi

Lindsay Lohan is going to be in this movie....but not as Jeannie

2. Don't Know....
reading the link on Kate Hudson doing the role...it talks about wanting to make the new Jeannie a feminist role model.

11. I'm with you
Even without being able to see her belly button, there was no woman as sexy as Barbara Eden in her role as Jeannie.

5. Well, here's a contender for a Razzie.
Yet more insanely idiotic crap from Hollywood. No, fuck it, I do NOT want to see a film version of Sidney Sheldon's moronic puke fest.

12. Thanks....
I used to love this show. I used to work with a lady and this is one of the things we used to do was recast old TV shows using modern actors. I always had a lot of fun doing that. From the responses, I'd thought Id mistakenly posted this in GD/P! :D

15. Sure, just not non-thinking remakes of bad TV
What's next? The new Dick Van Dyke show starring Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz?

They need to get some smarter people with better ideas...
