My eyelid has a mind of its own...
My right eyelid will start twitching, driving me up the wall. I'll be watching the tube, then voot-voot-voot...the twitching starts.

Short of superglue, any ideas on how to make it stay in place?

4. So, just smear the K and Ca right on the eye?

6. I would suggest eating some cereal and milk with banana slices. *l* Or
a cheesy baked potato.

3. I occasionally have the same problem...
I like GPV's advice: more potassium and calcium.

(Mine doesn't have the voot-voot-voot sound effect, tho.) :)

5. That happened to me in calculus this morning...
I hate it, because it feels strange and there's no way to make it stop short of holding down your eyelid.

7. Mine twitches when I'm tired or stressed.
And I drink a lot of milk and eat a ton of yogurt.

8. That could be it...
between a new house, tough job, a full semester of grad school, and a baby on the way, I may be feeling the stress a little bit.

11. It used to happen to me, too.
And it was when I was tired/stressed as well.

It was actually a joke in our office, because it would stop for one person and start for another for the longest time. We rotated through about 4 people, and one and only one would have it at a time.

9. Tonic Water!
Preferably in Gin & Tonic form. The quinine helps with muscle spasms. It also keeps you from getting malaria! It's worked great for me, I've never gotten malaria!

10. Save the eyelid, kill the liver.
Sounds like a fair trade. I'll try it!

12. Yep
this is one of the great pieces of advice my dad gave me. It's been working for him for probably 30 years, all that time malaria free!

17. Take a double dose of multi-vitamins. You're lacking vitamin K.
4 tablets and the twitching will stop within 15 minutes.

Thought it was just me. I'll have to try that potassium and calcium suggestion. Love cereal, love bananas, I'm in!
