"everyone knows" that there is absolutely no science behind evolution. Why, people who believe in evolution are irrational - they're just taking it on faith.

Classic way to turn around the argument. "We're not irrational, they are!"

Let me tell you, his focus on that tactic means that the argument about rationality has teeth and it hurts them.

... as in Hitler's "Final Solution". They always seem to forget that Hitler used Christianity as a tool to unite the Nazis against the Jews, Gypsies, and homosexuals. Hmmm... come to think of it those are three groups that fundamentalists don't like either.
