Dolly Parton has done great things for TN (mainly Eastern TN). I live about 20 miles from the general area she grew up in. She's done so many things for the school system I was in (in high school) and has truly tried to help out the community in positive ways.

the one quote I thought was pretty funny was when she was asked about gay marriage, she said that that gay people should have the right to be "as miserable" as married straight people are.
