Seriously, if this isn't fucking propaganda I don't know what the hell it is. There is no democracy in Iraq. Half the country was declared unsafe for election and Allawi is nothing more than a front for the Bush Regime.

But I suppose if we wear a purple suit and dye our fingers purple somehow the illegal war we started will all seem write.

I'm sure there are 100,000 Iraqi civilians who wish they were alive so they could have dipped their fingers too

:grr:

3. Why respond to that nonsense?
There's absolutely no way anyone would take that stunt seriously. If the Republicans want to appear puerile and clownish, let them. When the whole farce of Iraqi elections comes crashing down, they will really look stupid.

The fact that elected officials are doing stuff like this is just going to make us more of a laughingstock worldwide. I'm certainly no fan of Tony Blair, but I can't see him wagging around a dyed finger.

4. But as long as they have power it'll never come "crashing down"
They'll just sweep it under the carpet and do dumbass stunts like purple fingers

5. Sigh. You're probably right....
but on the other hand, having Chalabi there last year as a stunt made them look stupid, so there's always hope.
