2. Two Months till Opening Day

Someone should fry Gary Bettman's ass. I miss hockey a lot and my son is bereft. I've never gotten into football, the Knicks suck, the Nets are better than the Knicks but that's like saying Gonzalez is better than Ashcroft (and I'm not even willing to concede that).

Opening day can't come soon enough!

7. Been a LONG time since we had something to cheer about in NY

But spring blossoms hope eternal. Mets look better than they have for as long as I can remember, with someone in the batting order to FINALLY protect Piazza, and the Greedy Unit gives the Yankees a guaranteed 15 wins more that last year.

No one will budge on the cap issue. So where is this going? Unless someone is going to back down, how can they EVER resolve it? I feel for the people who really need the money- all the staff people in the team offices, all the people who work the games and the business owners near the arenas who depend on the traffic for their livelihoods. Once again the regular people get screwed.

A bunch of men marking their territory, peeing in their corners (metaphorically). Grow up boys. Real people depend on you to put food on their families.
