just some bizarre schizophrenic / religious babblings...

are people with schizophrenia prone to religion? the few persons i know who had episodes got really heavy into god around the time they had their episodes.

16. Some people with schizophrenic diseases

become obsessed with religion. I did also and I did extensive readings on Eastern philosophy. But just because the person is a religious rambler doesn't make them schizophrenic. I didn't look at the web page so I wouldn't be able to judge if the author was mentally ill or faking it or a genuine bible thumper.

i wasn't suggesting that any person who is a religious rambler is automatically schizophrenic... Just had noticed that a few of the folks who i had known who had schizophrenic episodes developed, concurrently, an acute interest in religion.

This webpage, where the person was forthcoming about their condition was evocative of those who I knew.
