Heterosexuality...I don't get it

My partner of ten years, Will, tells me he's a heterosexual. I've known several heterosexuals and all of them had really rocky relationships with their parents when they were growing up. What's more, most of them actually moved away from their parents when they grew up and started living heterosexual lifestyles. I think they're all doing it to get back at their parents, including Will, who so wanted to get back at his folks that he even (gasp!) had a heterosexual marriage before I met him. They go in for that sick kind of shit in Alabama.

Nothing good has, or will, ever come of it.

If they can eliminate smallpox, why can't they eliminate sex? At least lock it up in a cryogenic container for possible future study.
