Why are ex's so stupid?
My ex is starting a new job that actually has health insurance. I showed her how putting our boys on HER insurance will not only save me money, it will increase the child support amount she gets from me by over $100 a month, giving her a net gain of over $45 a month. Yet she won't do it, even though her job is a secure union position and her insurance is better (lower copays, which SHE already pays right now) and lower deductibles.

Why on earth would she turn down something that actually benefits her AND the kids?

4. That's crazy.
It only ends up saving me about $20 a month and I couldn't care less. I figured since she was starting a job at a lower pay that what she used to get she'd rather have more cash. My only priority in the whole deal is making sure my kids are taken care of, no matter what.

3. She doesn't believe you
That's why she's an ex.

Not a whole lot of trust between former spouses, no matter how rationally the facts are presented.

Sorry, fit. It's really dumb on her part. Maybe she'll come around.
