Microsoft is always encountering a problem and always needs to close.
Edited on Fri Feb-04-05 04:06 AM by SmileyBoy
Whenever I click onto any section of my desktop from the Start menu, whether it's My Computer, Control Panel, My Music, My Pictures or My Documents, it does the EXACT same thing. And then sometimes it says that "Dr. Watson Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close. (Send Error Report | Don't Send)

It didn't just do this one or two isolated times. It happens EVERY FREAKIN' TIME I click into my desktop.

I run Windows XP, BTW. (Maybe I should look into Linux??)

Techies HELP, PLEASE!!!!!!

3. Close all Programs then try runing System File Checker in XP go to
Start>Run> type this in the box sfc /scannow
making sure a space is between sfc and /

you should dig out your WinXP OS disk you will be prompted for it if the File Checker locates damaged\corrupt Windows Files.

Good Luck
