My husband is all riled up about the Social Security propaganda....
He was ranting this morning about all the 'outsourcing' of jobs from this country - thus depleting the rolls of people contributing to the Social Security System. Why is this not being debated as well?

2. You're right. We liberals don't have good ideas about this nation
because of the very nature of being a liberal, we can't possibly harbor any kind of patriotic feelings. Never thought of it that way before, thanks for the 'heads up'.

BTW - do you think the Red Sox can do it again this year?

4. I am glad I can help you out!
The Sox can do it again this year. I think the starting pitching is going to be okay and the defense is just as good as last year. (Watched a replay of the Sox/Yankees Game four last night and am pumped for next year already!)

6. Me too.
I love baseball - but unfortunately my team has had upheavals in the past couple of years and I don't know where they are headed this season. (SF Giants). We shall see soon.

I was happy to see your Sox win it last year! Congrats!

7. Thanks
I went to what was then known as PacBell a couple of years ago and was impressed by the stadium. Also SF was a beautiful city.

3. Because the MSM no longer presents 'facts' just 'press releases'...
If they took on the responsiblity of reporting 'facts' then the news would have to be twice as long, to point out all the lies and misrepresentations given in the statements, speechs, press releases, etc.

They are nothing more than megaphones (and Bush was a cheerleader, any irony?) for what is being said from 'official' sources.

They have given up any semblance of being distributors of *fact*, for if the the facts disagree with the lies of the neocon revolution (they're not conservatives by any definition I'm aware of) they're labeled 'biased'.

What you are looking at is exactly how Hitler did it ("The Big Lie")...

5. You're absolutely correct . There is no room in the current media
for factual information.
