To all you revelers in New Orleans, I'm jealous. Have a great weekend. I'll be in St. Louis partying all weekend long, but it is not the same.

Mardi Gras snuck up way too fast this year. I don't know if I'll make it down to the quarter or not; keeping an eye on the weather forecast. However, Sunday will be spent reveling in a favorite watering hole in Slidell - more Super Bowl Party than Mardi Gras but the colors will be gold, purple and green. It just doesn't get any better than this. Have a great time in St Louis.

For planning purposes - the French Quarter festival is 8-10 April, and its my favorite weekend in New Orleans all year, but don't tell anyone.

As they say in my household, Laissez les bosshog roule!!

2. Yeah! Laissez les bon temps roule!!

We're living it up. I'm so sore from parading Wednesday that I can barely walk. It's gonna be a crazy few days. I probably won't be around the DU much until Ash Wednesday. Y'all wish me luck.

I'll try to check out Hermes and d'Etat tonight before heading over to Krewe of Oak at the Maple Leaf.

I just hope I can make it through Tuesday. It's getting pretty crazy!
