I heard him speak a few years ago, and frankly, was kind of shocked. I'd always been a fan of his music, but just couldn't accept the vitriol coming out of his mouth.

On the other hand, if he's raising money to help tsunami victims, I certainly can't fault him.

8. This was a forum specifically on his politics

he said some stuff about conflict in the middle east that moved across the line of objective discussion and much closer to outright anti-semitism. He got booed out of the building, actually. Before this stuff got brought up, someone asked him to sing a song, and he refused, saying that everything about western culture, including his old music, was evil.

Like I said before, this doesn't make raising money for tsunami victims any less good, but I do question the morals of the man in general. He spoke with a lot of hate in his voice.

9. In the 80's he asked ,that anyone who ever listened

to his music, would stop buying it, because it was from satan, or something like that. I don't have a link, because it was before everything was put online. I just read it, either in Rolling stone, or People. Being the contrary, don't tell me what to do, Americans we always have been, the radio stations played his stuff constantly. I thought it was kind of amusing. Eventually, he changed his tune. Money always talks.
