4. Broke My Right Fibula 3 Yrs Ago --

How bad is your break? (I cringe to think about it again, although mine healed fine and I play tennis on it regularly now).

I was in a cast 13 weeks. Took the longer cast-up instead of surgical open reduction and internal fixation (plate and pins to hold it together).

I feel your pain. Really. Hope you heal fast!

7. Did it on Jan 25th while working......got a cast on finally yesterday...

they put in a 9 inch piece of metal with 7 screws...I did both the tibula & fibula...my Dr was going to screw the tib to the fib but was able to get the fib back in place. Fell walking down someone outside stairs that they never bother to clear of snow, leaves and other debris. It was made of concrete blocks, but looks like they left one block out.
