The VERY coolest "Awwwww" story and pics EVER
A lady found the fawn under her step (they think the doe might have been hit by a car) .. her Ridge Back dog is helping look after it. The family named the fawn Bella. Once she has regained her strength (she was not in good shape when the family found her) they are going to send her to some friends who (in the past)! raised two orphan deer and released them to the wild. Right now she ! is being bottle fed. Their dog (Hogan) has basically taken over. The fawn even shares his bed.

7. unfortunately if this deer is released into the wild, it will be easy
pickings for some hunter...it'd probably come right up to them

13. My dad has a dog just like that
He's a wonderful dog. Easy going and mild mannered. They are known as hunters, though, so I'm kind of surprised that he has taken so well to the deer.

25. I love Rhodesian Ridgebacks...
A friend of mine had two of them. My friend told me that they were easy going but very, very protective. I love that fur on their back that grows in the opposite direction of the rest of the fur -- that is so cool.

These are some tough dogs.
