1.)What is your favorite flower? The yellow rose, my mother was a Texan and she loved yellow roses. They remind me of her. Next, the pink rose, the national flower of Poland.

No economist from the turn of the last century could have foretold the kind of commerce the world would be engaged in currently. We need new heroes for most of the world's woes.

1. I think my favorite is the gardenia, maybe based on smell more than anything. Dandelions are up there, too, though.

2. No, despite being a southern male I've never actually shot a real gun. I owned a fake rifle when I was a kid that made a "pop" sound when you "shot" it, and I also owned my fair share of water pistols but I've never shot a real gun.

3. I used to speed pretty badly during the first couple years after I started driving, but after getting a ticket and a warning within a couple months span of time I've calmed down. I rarely go more than four or five miles over the speed limit, even on the highway; I'm often the slowest person on the road at a given time. Funny since I'm in my early twenties; most of the folks on the road probably think I'm a senior citizen or something as they pass me!

4. I'm not sure, really, and I'm one who does my fair share of procrastinating. Occasionally I wake up and just do all the things I'd been needing to do for several days, but too often I wake up and can't make myself do anything I need to. It's a combination of laziness and depression. I should probably see a psychologist, but that's another thing I've been putting off... :-)

5. That everyone deserves certain basic rights in their life. One of these is access to basic health care, and I hope before I die to see universal health care implemented in America and to see health care more accessible throughout the world. This is a subject I want and need to learn more about.

6. Not precisely, though I figure if I find the right highways and just drive west it's pretty much a straight shot from where I live in Southeast TX. I-10 may get you pretty close actually. I've never been further west than Arizona, though.

7. God, this is a really tough one... I'm gonna go with Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King, Jr. I'd like to work Abraham Lincoln in there somewhere, too. I figure those are pretty popular answers, but I think they'd have pretty good ideas.

8. I love iced tea; perhaps my favorite drink. Hot tea is okay, but I've never gotten into the habit of drinking it, or any sort of warm beverage for that matter- maybe due to growing up in the muggy and humid southern U.S. near the Gulf Coast. Coffee I only like if it's smothered in cream and sugar; I tried to drink it socially for a while but then decided this was silly. Since it's not particularly healthy black, and I only made it less healthy covering it in sweeteners, and I didn't really like the taste that much anyway, it wasn't a particularly healthy habit to try to develop!

9. I was in my junior high and high school bands and have already lost most of the minimal skill I possessed. I was a percussionist who played a little bit of drum (snare, bass, toms, etc.), a slight bit of xylophone, and a lot of percussion instruments that don't require much in the way of talent (cymbals, tambourine, maracas, etc.). (That's what not particularly talented members of drumlines tend to gravitate toward!) I love music, though, but either don't have a lot of talent at it (I could never begin to master a drumset to save my life; too much going on at once) or just never had the patience to develop much skill.

10. I am an agnostic, but have done some thought about what God looks like. I always picture him looking something like Jerry Garcia! Not sure what it is but that's just the perception I have. I will say that I think there's just as good a chance that God is a woman or of no specific gender but, perhaps just because of American culture or something, my picture of God in my head is of an old man who looks remarkably like Jerry Garcia. haha

On the freeway, faster. In town, right at the limit, maybe slightly higher.

Knowing that I can play when I'm finished.

That our rights are not given by our government, they exist in nature.

Sure. Drive to airport. Get on a plane headed there. Several hours later, I'd be there.
