anyone here ever have LEEP surgery?

I myself have never had it, but I did have fibroids removed earlier this year (you were so nice during that time, BTW). Do you know when you're having it done? I know it's important to rest and follow all the annoying instructions, plus there is bleeding for about 3 days following. Take care.

2. It really isn't all that bad

At the most you will have bleeding, really more like spotting afterwards. Tylenol should take care of any pain. Think of it as an extended pap smear. I think the worst part is actually just having someone else looking at your vagina. Of course no sex for about three weeks might be devastating to some but that should be it.
Don't worry too much, its over before you know it.. about two minutes.

6. Leep procedure.

I schedule surgeries for a large obgyn group. This is an in and out in office procedure. They take a small sliver of the cervix to remove the abnormal tissue with a very thin wire. They are going to put this crappy yellow paste in for the bleeding. You are going to have some discharge - it can be anything from yellowish which is the color of the paste to black brown - and it stains - so wear a pad (no tampons, douche or sex for a few weeks)

Don't worry. There is more pain involved when you have acrylic nails removed, I should know, I have had both done.

You know, I had 2 kids with no drugs, but when I had a cavity filled, I seriously wanted to have general anesthesia.

I just don't like any gynecologic stuff. Ugh.
