how long does it take you to get ready to go out?
i was going to make this a poll, but there are just too many answers/variables.

so let us know, are you a male or female and how long does it generally take you to get ready either in the morning for work, or out for a night out.

1. I'm female
When I get up for class, it takes me 20 minutes to get ready- wash fash, brush teeth, put on clothes, etc.
For dates, it takes me 1.5 hours. Yes, that's right. An hour and a half.

2. I take 15 minutes in the morning to get out the door -
I need 45 to get ready to go out for the night. I've always said, "I'm low maintenance, but high strung." :hi:

10. I have a couple different modes
I am female.
If I don't shower, I can get out of the house in under 10 minutes. It takes me a maximum of 40 minutes to get ready for anything although for some special events, I have gotten ready way early because I get nervous and being late is a major crisis for me.
My husband takes longer to get ready. My father has commented on this.

It depends on the occasion. I always take longer to get ready for work, and less to go shopping.

(male, btw)

18. 30 minutes on average....
Some place special would take longer. I'd put a little more effort into the hair and clothing.

19. Depends on night of the week I go out
If I am going to an event that is a weeknight, it only takes me about 10 minutes or less because generally I spend more time getting ready in the morning, and all I have to do is change a jacket or shoes, or perhaps a blouse, and touch up my war paint. Morning time to get ready: 40 minutes, not counting blogging or checking e-mail time, or feeding pets/dishes, chores leftover.

Otherwise, if it's a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon, about 1 hour, which includes shower, putting in contacts, blow-drying hair, last minute clothes pressing, some war paint, accessories, ensuring house is secure, and waiting on my spouse, who sometimes takes over an hour. :-)

23. Male
Going to store Saturday morning -- put on hat, 1 minute (sometimes longer if I can't find keys)

Going out Sat night - 30-40 minutes to look all spiffy.

Work -- 10 minutes to shower shave and throw on "business casual"

22. In the morning before work, I am ready in about 30 minutes.
If I don't have to shave (i.e. going out for the evening), I can be ready in 15 minutes.
