Ok- recommend some REALLY good movies to rent.....

I joined blockbuster online, 14.99/mo with three movies out at a time. I am building my list and need to fill it up.Please tell me what I should see and why you enjoyed it. It doesn't have to be a new one, just one you enjoyed.

2. Liberty Heights

It's by Barry Levinson and set in the 1950s....revolves around two brothers who are Jewish and growing up in the Baltimore area..handles issues of race and a changing America very well.

I enjoy movies that tell an interesting story and spark the imagination. Hidden humor is a plus, I hate the obvious Jerry Lewis type of gags.

Great movie and shows how lazy reporters are today. It was amazing watching these guys uncover Watergate. I read the book, also, and it is fascinating. If Watergate happened today, the lazy MSM would just sweep it under the carpet -- just like they do with everything else this crooked administration does.

another. Chemistry out the wazoo. Also, Hellboy is a total hoot. Loved it. Return of the Dog Soldiers (I think that's right) with
Tom Berringer. Wonderful, great movie.

23. BB sucks

I hate, hate, HATE blockbuster online. Their service sucks.

Got only 12 dvds in my first month and a half with Blockbuster (in comparison, I got 28 from Netflix even though I have been with them only one month and one week). Most dvds from them takes from 5-6 days in shipping. On several occasions, no movie came to me at all. And when I had a replacement sent to me (after waiting for a whole week) due to the missing movies, the replacement would disappear as well (after waiting another week). At one point, I went a whole 12 days without receiving a single dvd from them. In those same 12 days, Netflix had sent me 7 dvds.

On the 13th day I finally got in a dvd from Blockbuster. I also got 2 dvds from Netflix that same day. So, in those 13 days I got only one dvd from Blockbuster, but 9 from Netflix. Netflix is well worth the few extra dollars (only 1-2 days shipping).

I've already sent two or three complaining emails to BB, all to no avail. Still the same lousy service.

I'm not saying that will happen to you. Many of blockbusters customers are quite satisfied with the service, but in my experience its been nothing but a nightmare.
