A question for any DU farmers out there...
i live in mexico..and chickens here do completely enjoy free range...so my question is this...they hop my fence at night and totally destroy my garden...i plant something..and as soon as a shoot apprears...they eat it...it i plant an established plant..they scratch and root it out. so.........anyone have any ideas on how to keep them out..and they can run..and they do run when they see me..ha!

5. Do you keep cats? Put things on the wire that make noise and
wiggle. Then pray a mink moves in next door. Chickens are crafty little biddies. I love them but feel for your situation.

8. taller fences and construct chicken tractors
which is moveable fencing that you rotate from time to time thusly using the valuable droppings and as they are pecking the grain they aerate the soil.
