I can't see, I'm cold and my bathtub is full of sewage Ask me Anything!!
In the past two hours, my glasses broke, my furnace decided it needs its pilot re-lit every time the thermostat wants it to run, and my main sewer line is suddenly plugged up.

I think I better get my hands off this computer.

1. Not good.
Hang in there.

Is it your lateral out to the sewage system that is plugged?

2. Call the plumber and sit back down and wait for him
it's probably roots. Do you have a lot of trees close to your house?

3. Sounds like me two weeks ago
Furnace went out in a 10 degree cold spell. My knob was stripped. That's all it was. I got lucky. If you can call it that by any stretch of the imagination.

Be careful relighting. Especially with broke glasses.

I send you cohesive energy to problem solve.

Peace buddy.

4. eh, just crank the thermostat up real high
then gather all the blankets in the house and get in bed - when it finally goes off you'll be plenty toasty for the night, then in the morning tape your glasses back together and clean the pilot hole real good - if that don't work yank out the thermostat and go to Ace and get a new one - no big deal, trust me. eh the sewer, need a lot more info - are you on septic or real sewer? Roots is probably correct but septic is a different story.

5. Any plumbers in the family?
Too bad we're not related. I'd come right over. I have the parts right here, the sewer machines and everything.
