I'm disaffected. Am I a freak?
I have been feeling very alone recently. I am trying to find my way back to God, but am too angry. Quite frankly, if there is a God he/she must hate me. Every time something goes wrong in my life, some "Christian" "Friend" of mine says that maybe this is the way God wants it for you. Also, as much as I have wanted to use what little potential I have to try to affect change, it does not seem people want to listen to me or my side (the Democratic side) in part as evidenced by the last election. Or in different cases with me specifically.

1. Look inside of you
That is where you can find God. He doesn't come
from others or what they say. And, it is only my
thought,,, you don't have to listen to me either.

2. I hate when people say God wants bad things to happen to someone
How do they know what God wants. Brother!

Bad things happen to good people, good things happen to good people too. It's just that sometimes the good things get overwhelmed by the bad for certain periods of our life.

Maybe for just a little while you can try to affect change in only the smallest part of your world and see how that goes. I got pretty disheartened after the election and tired of always trying to look at the big picture and look out for everyone else. I was overwhelmed. So for the last couple of months, I've been trying to be kind and generous and a good person in just my own little space on this earth. I get an immediate reward of someone's thank you or a smile and it makes it a little better.

Does that make any sense? Hope things get better for you.

3. It is a rough time for us liberals. So you aren't alone.
Everyone has periods of doubt,of questioning life. Everything seems to go in cycles,so you know good things are coming.

4. No. I don't know good things are coming.
There have been bad things almost exclusively for two years.
