Who else has ever been mistakenly tombstoned!!

I was tombstoned last night right in the middle of counting down to my 700th post.

I couldn't believe it, It was so horrible to see that little tombstone in my profile, I almost cried.

I racked my brain all night wondering what in the world I could have possibly done.

Thank god all is well this morning.

5. I was talking about the time I was tombstoned.

But that might have something to do with it. I did the same thing with a counting thread. It got up to a very high number in a few minutes, mostly from my posts.

4. That happened to me a few months ago

Seemed there was a glitch. I think Skinner commented on it. I sent an e mail to the admins as soon as it happened and by the next morning all was fine.

It was a long night that night.

Was there some automatic script than bans if you make too many posts, too quickly (usually indicative of troll behavior)?

Or did a mod zap you?

message. It was a glitch in the board that particular night.

My biggest fear...

I've had my worries but I don't think I ever said or did anything on these boards that would get me tombstoned...(except maybe a few mistakes before I knew better)

I didn't say or do anything.
I think it was the spam filter.
I was posting 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 ,4 ,3, then at 2 I was tombstoned.
Must have been doing it to fast or something.

Can you imagine what I was thinking all night.

"Have you ever been shot at?" poll

Its not fun thats for sure.

I bet it would be hell for you. No matter when I've been on here, Longrain is always here. I see you here at night and 1st thing in the morning all the time. There should be a little house at the top of the lounge where Longrain lives, and we can click on it anytime to visit The Longrain Group. LOL

9. Really I'm not always here.

I'm usually doing other things while I'm on line. I just always have my computer on and always have a window open for DU even while surfing other sites.

I guess I'm just good a doing more than one thing at a time.

That spam filter will catch you if you post too much in a short period of time. Bleachers7 used to have fun by posting a thread that said "Newbies! Kick as many threads as you can, as fast as you can." Then they'd try and be tombstoned. I have to admit it was kind of funny. He doesn't do it anymore though.

16. I Did That Trying to Hit a Milestone

The DU sodtware doesn't allow you to make multiple identical posts. I was tombstoned for a few minutes until Skinner reset my account.
